Smoking Policy
Seven Oaks Inn / Bed and Breakfast is a non-smoking facility in and around the house. If necessary, we can provide a designated smoking area outdoors and away from the general vicinity of the house. If you are hosting an event or have a visitor that is not a Seven Oaks guest, you are responsible for ensuring he/she abides by this policy while on Seven Oaks property.
Smoking in unauthorized areas may constitute a request to vacate the facility, loss of deposit, and/or Seven Oaks’ guest being charged for the remaining balance of the visit. The possibility of additional charges for deodorizing the room or covering damages that may have occurred due to your and/or your guest’s violation of this policy may also be imposed.

Pet & Service Animal Policy
Seven Oaks Inn / Bed and Breakfast is not able to accept pets. There are a number of pet lodging facilities in close proximity. If needed, we can provide you with a list of those facilities. (We are not responsible or liable for any actions or lack of actions for these facilities and are not associated with them in any way.)
Service dogs are allowed. To protect our property and other guests, we ask that the animal be trained, well groomed, have all updated shots, and to be free of fleas and ticks. You may be required to show certification and you will need to present updated shot records prior to your stay. You are required to clean up after your service dog and you will be responsible for damages caused by your animal, to include the possibility of any and all treatments to eradicate fleas and ticks brought onto the premises by your service animal.

Internet Accessibility
Wi-fi Internet access is provided at no additional charge as a courtesy to all guests. You will be given the password to the system upon check-in. You, as a guest of Seven Oaks Inn / Bed and Breakfast, are responsible for the actions of those that visit/accompany you and to which you give the internet password during your stay/event.
To be able to continue providing wi-fi internet service, we require that no guest download, display, upload, or transmit obscenity or pornography, or illegally download or distribute copyright-protected materials utilizing Seven Oaks Inn / Bed and Breakfast Internet service. Guests should not utilize the network to gain unauthorized access to any other computer system, to include another guest and/or Seven Oaks computer systems. Failure to comply with this policy may constitute your and/or your guest(s) being asked to vacate the property and you will lose any deposit and/or monies paid for your lodging, events, etc.

Lost or Stolen Property
Seven Oaks Inn / Bed and Breakfast is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items from your room and/or your car due to theft, fire, or any other unforeseen event/circumstances. You are provided a room key and we recommend you utilize the door lock(s). We recommend you lock all valuables in your car/trunk. If holding an event, we recommend you limit access to rooms and personal property to those attending your event.
If your property is lost, stolen, or damaged, an investigation may be conducted by Seven Oaks and/or our insurance provider. We will abide by all insurance regulations and investigations protected under all applicable insurance fraud policies and laws. In addition, we reserve the right to polygraph under the Employee Polygraph Protection Act concerning incidents. If your property is misplaced while you are here and it is relocated after your departure, we will be more than happy to forward it to you. You may be responsible for any postage/shipping charges that may incur during the return of your property.

Damages to or Loss of Seven Oaks’ Property
Seven Oaks Inn / Bed and Breakfast reserves the right to charge your on-file credit card for any damages or loss of property (to include missing towels, robes, damage to outside property, appliances, etc.) that may occur due to your actions or lack of actions during your stay, event, etc. If damages are incurred through the actions or lack of actions by anyone attending your event/visiting you while on Seven Oaks property, you are responsible for those individuals’ actions and therefore are responsible for any and all damages incurred by those parties.

Disruptive Behaviors and Illegal Activity
Rude, disruptive, and/or illegal conduct of any form is not condoned on Seven Oaks Inn / Bed and Breakfast property at any time. Possession of and use of illegal drugs and overconsumption of alcoholic beverages are not permitted on Seven Oaks property. Individuals under the age of 21 are not to be given or allowed to consume alcoholic beverages or illegal drugs while on Seven Oaks property. Guests and/or event holders utilizing Seven Oaks’ property are responsible for ensuring their guests do not leave when under the affects of alcohol. You may be held liable for any damages incurred by this guest if he/she is allowed to drive while intoxicated or buzzed.
We reserve the right to contact local law enforcement agencies to restore the peace and, if necessary, to escort you and/or your guest off Seven Oaks property. If you are asked to vacate the premises, you will lose any deposit and/or other monies paid for lodging, events, etc. You will be responsible for any and all damages incurred to Seven Oaks’ reputation and/or its property for violation of this policy.
