We take great pride in knowing our guests feel safe and comfortable. Below are a few things you need to know during your stay.

Check-in is normally between 3:00 - 6:00 p.m. If you are running late, please let us know so we can be sure to have someone there to greet you. To check in early, you must call in advance so we can ensure your room is ready. (Please note: There may be an additional charge for early check-ins.)
Check-out is 11:00 a.m. A late check-out may be possible; however, you must inquire in advance. (Please note: There may be an additional charge for late check-outs.)
We will be glad to hold your baggage in a secure location before or after check-in/check-out times.

Reservations, Cancellations, Rescheduling, & Refunds |
Reservations -- A 50% deposit is required at the time of your reservation. We require a valid credit card -- VISA, Discover, Master Card, or American Express. Rates are subject to change without notice. There may be a minimum length of stay or an increased rate during high-demand periods.
Cancellations, Rescheduling, & Refunds -- Below is a brief overview of our bed and breakfast refund policy. Please review the entire Cancellation Policy under the "Reservations" tab.
*If you cancel 7 or more days prior to your reservation, a full refund - minus a $25 processing fee - is given.
*If you cancel LESS THAN 7 days prior to your reservation:
If we can rebook your reservation, a full refund - minus a $25 processing fee - is given.
If we CANNOT rebook your reservation, we cannot refund your deposit.
No Shows and Early Departures offer no refund.
Cancellations greatly affect Seven Oaks because we have turned away other potential guests to ensure your lodging needs are met. Therefore, refunds and rescheduling is at Seven Oaks' discretion and our policy can change at any time.
*Entire House, Special Event, and High-Demand Period reservations are handled differently.

Please let us know in advance of your check-in if there are any special dietary needs. (Please note: There may be an additional charge for specifically required items.)
We have found that our guests often need a flexible breakfast schedule. When you check-in, please let us know what time you would like breakfast and kindly remind us of dietary requests. If you have no preference, breakfast will be between 8:30 - 9:30 a.m.
Breakfast is usually served in our Dining Room. However, you are welcome to dine on the front porch, at our breakfast nook, or in your room. We appreciate knowing in advance if you would like an alternative location than our Dining Room so we can prepare your table.
Please note: PER GUILFORD COUNTY HEALTH REGULATIONS, GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE KITCHEN/ FOOD PREP AREAS FOR ANY REASON!

Well-behaved children aged 12 and up are welcomed at Seven Oaks, but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times. For children younger than 12, please call us. Arrangements may be available on a case-by-case basis.

In order to ensure your room is thoroughly clean and to be respectful of guests with allergies, Seven Oaks does not allow pets and smoking in or near the house.
We do have areas throughout the property and away from the house where you can smoke. Just ask us for those locations. We ask that you do not throw butts on the ground or in indoor trash cans. If butts are placed indoors, we will have to fumigate the room, which will cost you an additional $50.00 expense. Please place butts in the firepit, the outside trash cans, or take them with you.
We also do not condone leaving pets in your car during your stay and you will be asked to relocate your pet if this occurs. We can recommend area boarding facilities. However, we do not endorse, are not liable for, and are not responsible for the actions or lack of actions associated with these boarding facilities.

Seven Oaks has four acres of grassy area and gardens for everyone’s walking and playing enjoyment. We offer both inside (puzzles, games, etc.) and outside (horseshoes, bocce ball, croquet, etc.) activities. We must ask, however, that while enjoying these activities, you refrain from loud, boisterous behaviors so as not to disturb other guests. We would hate to have to ask you to leave (with a loss of all monies paid and you will be charged for your remaining balance) if your or anyone in your party’s behavior disrupts other guests.
If consuming alcohol, please be considerate of others. We do not condone excessive consumption of alcohol or driving while intoxicated / buzzed. At no time should individuals under 21 be served alcohol, nor should illegal drugs be on or consumed at Seven Oaks' property.
You are responsible for your and your party's behavior, for any damages, and/or loss of Seven Oaks' property that may be incurred by your/their actions or lack of actions thereof. We reserve the right to charge the on-file credit card for any and all reparations to correct said damage. We reserve the right to contact local law enforcement agencies to restore the peace and, if necessary, to escort you off Seven Oaks' property. If you are asked to vacate the premises, you will lose any deposit and/or other monies paid for lodging, events, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: No open flames / candles are allowed inside the house or on the porches! If you would like to enjoy a fire in the Living Room fireplace or at the firepit, please coordinate with a Seven Oaks staff member. |
