The Piedmont Triad of North Carolina is bursting at the seams with activities of all sorts for those visiting our area. With no less than 6 colleges / universities within a 30-minute travel, there is an abundance of college sporting events. 

Gardens, parks, and historical landmarks are also too many to mention as this area is beaming with nature and was greatly influenced by Quakers and Moravians whom settled here many years past. 

There are excellent theaters – High Point Theater, Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, the Stevens Center for the School of the Arts, Salem College, and the Little Theater of Winston-Salem – in addition to numerous festivals that will keep the traveler entertained for days with a plethora of diverse performances. 

The Yadkin Valley and surrounding areas are inundated with vineyards that produce an abundance of various wines to satisfy your pallet.  We shouldn’t forget about our breweries, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, or Old Salem and its Winkler Bakery! 

Just in our area for furniture shopping?  Come early and plan to shop late (keep in mind that most furniture stores are closed on Sunday.).
